I'm currently looking for additional moderators. Anyone interested in volunteering should send me a private message. Any new moderators will be notified, promoted, and then announced all at once, so don't be discouraged if you don't get a response from me right away.

We're also going to start using an infraction system to enforce the rules. This system will not be applied to any posts/threads made before today, and you can read more about it here.

So basicly, 1 point expires every month with this infraction system.
What happens when you reach 15 points, receive a permanent ban, and then next month you'll have 14 points.
Does that mean you get unbanned?

Secondly, where can you see/keep track of how many points you currently have?

A permanent ban can only be reversed By Cit. If you want to come back Cit need to beilive you have changed your ways.

This does not happen often^

But you can't show him you changed your ways without making another account which is against the rules and will get you banned again. Quite the predicament lol

1. Nope. Permanent bans are permanent (unless refuted).

2. With vBulletin, which this site runs on, there's a tab on your own profile page (just like the "Messages," "About Me," Statistics" and "Friends" buttons you currently see on each profile) that keeps track of all of the warnings/infractions, links to the post that were infracted, the reasons you were infracted, when you were infracted, and how long the infraction point duration lasts. Like many other features on vBulletin, this might be editable by the administrator, however.

Are only blatant off topic comments given infractions or does a conversation getting away from you count too?

It more so depends on the mod handling it. Some are more strict then others. Kiyza might just remove it. I might give to infraction everyone. Or vice versa.

More so it depends on the situations.

I mean like there are 20 people discussing something, nobody is flaming but everyone is technically posting off topic.

In a situation like that, it would probably best for the moderator that sees the situation to post a warning for the off-topic discussion to stop and ask all preceding comments to be related to the topic at hand.
