Are the red dots from the quest indicator chip part of graphics or do I have to reinstall?

Red Dots..? On the mini map, the dots represent mobs, if I'm correct, green are either your level or lower, yellow are for your level, and red ones are too strong for you. Red CIRCLES are quest areas that are recommended for you to go, but I've finished quests with not going to the original red circles they say.

On that note, I'm not trying to be read, but Citrinate does have a thread about rules and that everyone should read the stickies and guides about in-game stuff and you will basically be informed that way we can avoid having to make these threads and there's a chance someone will want to flame you and resist the urge. I'm trying to do this in the best manner possible because I'm sure everyone on the forums has passed a literacy test and can read, and can also use the search button..

This picture is when I press T then 2 and it shows the map but no radar:

After randomly searching around the map I find this: I don't see any dots

-sigh- Red Dots, Blue Dots, they're all quest related to show what NPCs have which quests. I already said this, Citrinate has this all stickied on the site, and look for it. Really now.
