there are a few words that i noticed if you use google translate or another program, you will notice they translate a certain word the exact same time. Use this thread to make a list of all the things that a translating program would say, but mean something else. Here is my list so far:

qigong= energy or energy crit(ki)
defence=resistance(often, not all the time though)
props= items
petrochemical= petrification
horror=fear
true or real=honest
odd=strange
fierce=wild
funny=korea or Laguna(idk how they get this one lol)
elegant=music
force=strength
concentration=focus
agile=dexterity
agile=dexterity
flee=dodge rate

I noticed i often see things like boxer or drunken fist or something. I assume they have something to do with fighters but dont know what. That could help me out with a few translations. Anything else you guys find post here, and it will make it easier for translators to understand.

Yea, petrochemical i put Petrification too.
That's why i try cross referencing with other sites.
First Google translate, then Bing translate, and then MDBG for any chinese clarification.

Actually this forum is using Energy as a replacement for Qigong. As in Energy attack and energy defense. I started a thread a few days ago to check what was being used

what about abnormality? example is: character is now immune to abnormalities. How should we write that word? as conditions? or just write it as abnormality?

and also what if i get blessing? example is 5% chance to remove blessing. Does that mean buff?

Abnormalities or Status Conditions. I prefer "Status Conditions" personally, due to the fact that it's what I'm used to hearing in MMOs, but whatever floats your boat.

I keep seeing the word drunken in translations, i dont think ive ever seen a move like drunken fist in this game. Example is what could this mean:

Drunken lifting effect has been launched

usually in the same translations youll see words like lifted and launched. What do these words actually mean in context to this game?


what about fortunately/ luck? example is fortunately increases by %s.

and another one is gas? it could mean air in some cases but i dont think thats always the case. I think it could also mean charging up energy/ki or soul. not sure though.

Launched in this case would be "activated"
I'd say Luck would be just Luck, many games use Luck as a game stat, not sure about DBO.
Gas, you mean 氣? That would be Ki, which would be Energy

fighters can drink rice wine to become drunk, when that buffs expires it should say: no more in the drunk state. There you go.
