I see a lot of our new players have a lot of trouble finding quests/just questing in general. I thought I would post a few helpful tips to make it easier on you to progress to 30 (seeing how I see a lot complain about 27-30). Getting to 30 is very easy, you just gotta focus becuase 27-30 does slow down a bit, or at least it feels like it.
Tip 1: Use your scouter to find quests!!!! it doesn't cover the whole land but it covers a LOT of ground. For those that are unaware, in the beginners guide, it explains how to do this. You press "T" to bring up your scouter screen, then hit the 2nd option in the list on the right (NOTE: You need the yellow scouter chip you got from a starting area quest in your scouter to get this to work. If you vendered it, all scouter venders sell them, so just buy it back)
Tip 2: Look up builds for your class in the class section. i can not stress enough how important this is. If you don't plan to use the cash shop for a reset book eventually, find a build you like and stick with it. It can make or break your gameplay. For example maxxing out wolf fang fist for MA's is important because it is their strongest attack. This will make fighting those pesky supers much easier, you should be able to solo most if not all supers.
Tip 3: SAVE THAT ZENI! Repeats used to take all your Zeni, but since they took them out, you will need your zeni to buy upgrade stones and gear if the upgrade is big enough!
Tip 4: Do the quests by town/camps/hubs. Go to one locations that has a decent amount of quests, finish the set of them and do not go to the next town/hub until you finish that one. I know this can be argued, seeing how some other hubs have quests in the same areas as others. But most of the time this isn't the case and it makes questing MUCH easier and doesn't overwhelm you with quests.
Tip 5: At around 25 try to do as much TMQ1 as you can. I usually sit outside the TMQ1 portal guy and spam "TMQ1 X EASY" where X is my level. So if you are 25, you would type "TMQ1 25 EASY" and you can get a group this way. If you have never done it before, just follow the group. It is a very easy TMQ, and as long as the group works together, you will be fine. Just keep up with the others if you haven't done it. That being said, don't spend your entire play time outside trying to get a group. If you don't get a group within 10 mins or so, I suggest going back to questing and come back in around 30 mins to see if anymore people have come around. Also make sure you are in the channel with the most people to assure there are more around looking for people. Channel 2 has been the popular channel as of late.
Tip 6: If you are getting overwhelmed with mobs calling for help, pull them far away from the groups. This is pretty common sense, but i see people complain about it a lot, so thought I would post it. Or if you can, stun the mobs just before its about to call for help if you can. Then finish him off.
Tip 7: KEEP YOUR LEVEL 20 RARE GEAR! This gear lasts until 30+. It is ridiculously good gear. ONLY replace it in TMQ1 with the legendary gear. If you get the excellent quality gear for a choice, take the zeni option. The excellent quality gear is not as good as your level 20 rare armor. Again only take the legendary items to upgrade from your level 20 rare gear.
Tip 8: Upgrade your gear. There is a guide in the guides section on how to do this, check it out and be sure to at least +5 your weapons and +3 your gear.
those are all I can really think of at the moment :P, if i think of more or see good ones posted, I will edit this post. Wasn't sure to post this here or guides either. I figured here it would be a bit more noticed to new comers since they are trying to get around still.

for level 45-50 guide, you might wanna add in this tip
TIP9: Save money for Repeatable quests. If you have the patience, dont do any of the dungeon quests and save them until you reach about lvl 47 or 48. At lvl 47 and 48 you get a LOT of quests, and theyre all for very very little exp like 20k -30k. theres a few good ones here and there. So either youre going to do work now or later. I made the mistake of doing all of my dungeon quests and then i struggle from 47-48. If you save up those dungeon quests, and find a nice high level friend or a strong partner to help you, you can go from 47-48 in 1 day i believe. A majority of your leveling is going to be repeat quests. such as the scouter repeat, the walrus repeat, and the rabbit repeat. So get used to doing those in parties. When it comes to the walrus repeat quest, you might want to buy a vehicle (for those who do not have instant trans) because that walk is really long and it gets tiring. Also, for the walrus repeat quest, if you cant find a party, go to a world thats not busy and find a walrus close to the hill. They respawn almost instantly so you can just kill the same one over and over without moving. This is a good strategy to use when youre by yourself (and an awesome way to farm dragonballs) from lvl 45-50 i found tmqing very unproductive especially since at this level koreans have grown tired of us and unwilling to invite us and the exp is too low for the time spent.
sorry if thats too long, you can break it up into pieces if you need, or throw it away if you dont want it
