This completely slipped my mind as I was meant to post this last week but here it is if you haven't seen it yet:

This is the official announcement trailer for the new HD remaster of Final Fantasy X/X-2.

Here is the critical information you need to know:

On the PS3:
Both FFX and FFX-2 will be bundled on one blu-ray disc so there is no need to buy each one separately.

On the PS Vita:
FFX and FFX-2 will be sold separately and will not be bundled together on the same disc.

In my opinion, I cannot wait for this remaster as FFX was my favourite game growing up.

The only thing I dislike about this is you can't have them on both systems unless you buy two versions.

Yeah they should of done a cross-buy feature like they did with playstation battle royal. I guess the problem with that though is that the psp vita has not really been selling as best as it could be, so they might of wanted to try have more of a variety of games for the console so it has more sales. If they keep on including a "cross-buy" feature like they did with some games it can have both a positive and negative impact in terms of sales - yes it gives more promotion for the console which encourages people to buy the handheld but on the other hand it does not give the third party company enough profit they were aiming for.

Another thing square mentioned was that they could not fit all of FFX/X-2 on the one disk for the vita like with the ps3 version so they needed to sell it separately.
