Well first, you need to have a dojo to be able to give someone or yourself the seed.

Duh.....JR and Masters give the seed out.

1. First make sur eyou have the tournament seed upgrade
2. go the the menu
3. put your name
4. thats it.

Jr or Masters can do it only
