Dark Souls II is FROMSOFT biggest game in the studio's history with the development team roughy doubled.

For all Dark Souls fans: this is easy -mode gameplay. They turned hard difficulty on 15 minutes before beta ended. You can see it on some beta videos. It was awesome.
