In this guide i will show you where you can find the upgrade vendor and how to upgrade(works in TW and KR versions, possibly HK). First off lets find a vendor, they are located in all the big citys for example Kokkara. Now heres a list of the upgrade stones.


Blue = Armor

Red = Weapons

Green= Pure stone for Armor (Has the chance to upgrade more than once in 1 shot)

Purple= Pure stone for Weapons (Same as green, but for weapons rather than armor)


Black= Downgrade the 1st picture here is a weapons downgrade stone the 2nd one is a armor downgrade stone.

White stones these prevent breaking after +6.

You can get these items in Auction house or drops from mobs. Also Waguwagu

The "U55" means you upgrade/downgrade any armor up that is up to level 55. If it were U30, you could upgrade any armor to level 30.

After +5 on weapons and +3 on armor you have to pick up 1 card in 3. 1 is broken, 1 is fail and other is success. Also to get past this card game you can use a purple or green stone.


Ok so you have the stone you want to use now so you go to the vendor press the 1st tab and this is what you do




and once your done with that you will see if your item succeeded, failed, or sadly broken.

Now heres how to change properties of an item.
Step 1: Go to the upgrade merchant

You missed a few details:

You can use your old hoi poi stones or upgrade stones and trade them in at the same upgrade merchant's shop for the new type of upgrade stones.

The "U21" means you upgrade/downgrade any armor up that is up to level 21. If it were U55, you could upgrade any armor to level 55. U11 is up to level 11, etc.

Do the greenish and purplish stones prevent breaking after +6? Otherwise how do we prevent breaking in the new system?

What's the chance (%) of breaking for +7, +8, etc?

After +6 you have to pick up 1 card in 3. 1 is broken, 1 is fail and other is success. (3 times i've tried it my weapon broke xD)
So i would say it's 1 chance in 3, so 33% or 1/3.
I think the only way is to try your luck in vendor's weapons and then transfer it to your original one...

Can you tell me more about transfering upgrade from one weapon to other ?

I am not sure that you can transfer upgrades. As far as i tested you get a clean item +12 for example and make your +2 item to go +12

Yeah, that's what it is. You need the triangle shape blue sand to do it. I think the item which you take +'s from needs to be equal or higher level.

Anyone can confrim what lvl needs to be and if we can transfer from different kind of items (from armor to weapon, from boots to pants etc) ?

i dont know much about it but when i tried to transfer upgrades to my pole from my old gloves it wouoldnt let me but it would glove for glove it seems they have to be same item or i was just missing something
