Hey there mateys! For those who were able to play (being korean maybe), here comes an incomplete translation patch for the game. i will update later, if you see some errors you would like to see corrected, i am happy to try and fix them. By downloading this file you agree that is your responsability to be using a modified file to play the game, for the all the bugs that it may cause, and for the legality involved. I know some translated things don't make sense, and that's because i translated it blind, editing the file without knowing exactly what part of the GUI it was, and maybe because i don't speak english that well either, or korean, at all. It will be better than playing in korean, i bet. Oh! if you guys figure out a way to translate the text in the loading screen, please tell me.

Because of an annoying error that causes in-game boxes not to appear we're going to be starting over with a new "bare minimum" English patch. If there are any areas of the game that you think absolutely must be translated or else they will severely effect your gaming experience post a screenshot of them in this thread (please don't post screenshots if all you see are boxes). The version of the patch offered below is the version that causes the error.

For help with playing the game without the English patch, read this guide: http://www.dbocom.com/guides.php?t=344

Instalation instructions:
1) Download the patch (MegaUpload or zSHARE).
2) Go to your DBO installation directory.
3) Enter the folder "pack".
4) Rename file lang0.pak to lang0backup.pak.
5) Move the file you just downloaded into the pack folder.
6) You're good to go, have fun.

If you did not make a backup of the original lang0.pak file you can still revert back to it. On the DBO launcher there are two buttons on the bottom right hand corner. Clicking the one on the left will uninstall the English patch.

This is pretty great, honestly.

And I wouldn't worry too much about everything else. If the UI is translated, that should be enough.

Nice work.
still, my System chat doesn't show Damage done/received after i installed this patch. i wonder why(maybe i don't have the necessary fonts for it, cuz i got no Office in this PC).
and let us know when you update it!

I've got a few suggestions. The party invite errors would be nice to have translations for as well as the party UI options. Also, some of the class names are a bit off. I know that it says stuff like "Namek Mystic", but the accepted name of the class is still "Dragon Clan" and all of the others can be found on the Wikipedia page for Dragonball Online.

There's a bunch of little errors here and there that I've seen, but I haven't documented any of them yet.

i know its full of mistakes guys, i tried to translate it from babelfish and stuff, but i would like you very much to do like cit did, list me the errors you find and corresponding solutions.
About the damage in the system chat, i didn't even knew it showed that, Ill try and fix it, but i dont know if i can, because i don't think i left that string empty or whatever the reason may be for that to happen.
Well ty all, please notify any mistakes you find to help me make this thing better. cya! :)

Yeah what program did you use to edit it? Maybe this could be an open source project?
