As you all know, the game isn't meant for balance in builds. While the skill tree has been designed to be.
For instance, why would a MA/Fighter decide to be Spirit ONLY. As he would always suck major ass to the real spirits, no matter what.
That leaves only the choice to be pure physicial. Because if you don't, that means you're going to be epicly lame in both areas.
Thing is, with a level 38 cap, MA/Fighter is clearly a boring and weak class anyway. Also, the PVP are broken because of the SK, and anyway to farming to best equip and all isn't my thing. I'm more about team play (either be it fight or quest or just exploring) even though my class isn't meant for that.
So do you think I should go for "fun", which is being ultimately average in both physical and spirit (though with the two at the same, it sorta equals out), with epic skills like jumping in the air and throwing dozen of ki blasts, etc...
Or just go for pure performance ? Which will still make me one of the weakest class of the lv 38 cap. (though I agree it's gonna rape a lot of people after that)
Yeah I know I'm supposed to decide for myself. Obviously if I'm asking here, I'd like a few opinions :p .
edit :
huh I meant to post that on the taiwanese section.

There are these things called skill resets. You can use one of those at a later date and get the best of both worlds. ;) That's what I'd do personally.

I went for the hybrid build. It actually has its advantages other than fun. Pulling is pretty high damage, and if I want to I can kill the target before he's within 5 feet of me. Combinations of knockdowns and stuns I've killed supers without getting a scratch. The spiritual attacks have a higher success rate, which is good since monsters have a stupidly high dodge rate right now. Also, since Kaioken has a fast drain on EP now, with a physical build there are no skills available to you after 10 seconds or so. With Final Effort you can always pull off a big attack.
The only disadvantage I've been able to spot is the lack of SP. The spiritual attacks as well as physical attacks there's almost nothing left for buffs. Even then I hardly use my buffs at all, other than the cooldown reduce skill. This will improve once the level cap is raised.

It's true that the lack of pulling and AoE is a downside to "pvp efficiency" ...
You're not helping me T.T
As for the buffs, I think I found the right balance, only the 1 minute lasting evade buff is sacrificied... (I never think of using this one anyway)
Anyway the PVP is fun but only when not taken seriously like some of the Z***ters do.
I guess I'll with something like this :

Another advantage, most melees use Spirited Roar as their buff. That is a huge hole in their defense that you can exploit in PvP

Against physical opponent.
Though if you're having ranged attacks AND KD, it equals out, isn't it ?
Same for avoiding being killed by groups of monsters, you don't need it if you can attack them all at the same time, or just pull one far away.
