Checked guides didnt see any info on this anywhere, most stats i can guess at the effect but i dont or didnt see any details on what reistance does as i have a buff gives me resistance curious to the effect and if its worth ranking up the buff on my mighty majin.

i think that depending on what your fightig like humanoid or beast i think it has something to do with that....i cant stress out the word "think" i dont know for sure

Resistance is that you can stand longer like if i am resistance against something i cant get it
so with that skill you can stand better against damage so also better if your tanker like an ultimate
but this i not sure about it

well no " resistance" stat in character sheet and is a buff boosts resistance... my thought was its CC resistance but i wanted to know for sure...


but isnt that what defense does? you have defense and defense rating both reduce damage and make you harder to hurt, defense boosts hp and makes you harder to hurt rating i assume is similar to other mmo's in that boosts all defensive stats its your tank stat.

Is really a third tank stat just reduces damage?

This is only a theory me and a few buddies have, but we think resistance is what is used to make skills like stuns,confusion, and other skills like that miss...I am making a char with resistance skills and testing this out...since there is no 100% answer on the topic, I also posted a topic asking this and no 100% answer was given

Easiest way to think about it is if you firemen wear fire resistant armour they will take less damage while if they wore water resistant armour they would take full damage of the fir sometimes games make opposite armour take greater damage

If so, it's definitely worth it. At max rank it increases attack and resistance against all elements by 18% meaning you will take 18% less damage and do 18% more damage against all types.

Yes resistance is with attributes so if you have extra resistance for honest attacks done honest weapons do less damage then with other kind of attributes
