Really i have no problem finding English players on HK, Maybe its the times you go on, but there are at least 4 big English and or non HK speaking guilds on all the time. Also most the HK players I encounter speak English at least decently. I think its because you started in the Namek area and are hanging around there. The human areas are well populated all the time. Also try chan 3, Its the human buff chan right now so its always the fullest lately.
If you find a guild you're good to go, the first couple levels are boring but if you find a good guild then its not deserted or lonely, plus not as much lag. Which is why I like HK :D
