Lol.. He just randomly said that date, it can take way longer or way sooner. Nobody knows.

More people need to help out with this. Currently we are only around 6% done and getting about 1000 translations done per week, when there are 130 000 lines to translate. Thats like 130 weeks b4 100%, obviously it wont actually take that long and these are very rough calculations, but you get the point.

I do not not a single chinese word yet ive been translating tons of text. We need more people to help if you want an english patch to come out. Just use these 3 websites, google translate, bing translate, and then mdbg to look up certain words. This way you can figure out like 80% of the translations and be a huge help.

You can't force people to translate, most people would rather give a good translation than a bad one, such as myself. If that takes more time then I'm sure It's worth the wait. Do you want a half baked patch like that of wasabii rushing to give us a patch? or a patch that takes forever but does what its supposed to do?

This is EXACTLY like cooking, it needs to be done slow, steady, and right!

Pretty much this. I'm currently tackling Dialogues of all types at the moment, and although i'm fluent at chinese, i have trouble reading it, and with me not knowledgeable about DBO, I can't understand the context at times, especially with the names.

I'm not sure if you know the English names for some of these things, but I'd recommend you just do a Google search on any names you don't know. For instance, one strange one I keep seeing is:

"Flic Sapporo" for "弗力札"

Google translate has no clue what this means, but if you do a Google image search for "弗力札" you get a bunch of pictures of Frieza. The phonetic spelling Google gives for this one is also "Fú lì zhá".

I had generally left all the dialogues with names in it alone, EXCEPT for Flic Sapporo, seeing how this one site i had used to scout for any context clues.

Now that i look at the phonetics, it should had been obvious it was Frieza. OTL

It seems like most of the long sentence from the translator tool is empty, i try to translate some of this sentence but is hard, cose google make no sence with words....So.. there is no one in this forum that can speak Chinese/Korean and English?, no one?, really?....

Im not albert einstein, but if in 13 days from citrinate news, we have 6% translated, this means that it would take us 216 days to finish 100% translation..

216 days is 7 months.

So... if we keep this translation ritm , from now on until "August" (Maybe September 2013), the translation will be 100% done.

and then the Taiwan patched but the Korean is further ahead but even so wheneverthat patches it will affect the patch will also need to (if the patch adds new content) further delaying arrival date btw
