Also, the character data we see in our DBO folder is just the stuff that doesn't need to be saved on their servers. Otherwise the file that allows for the existence of our characters are with them, not us.
the reward for making it into the top 32 in the tourniment was that you get to keep your character and you get special gear so count on them getting wiped.
Their chars a wiped, but they get an item set in OB.
It seems though that we might not have to wait very long to play the game again. Netmarble (possibly accidentally) released information stating that the game could be playable again as soon as next week. It's expected that the next stage in the game's life will be an open beta with 95% of the game playable (most likely including the missing Engineer class). Users hoping to participate in the open beta will most likely still need an age 15 or over Netmarble account as the game has a rating of 15+.
Yay, I've always knew that they'll do an Open Beta in the final half of this month especially since they've stated OBT will be in December in their 3Q 2009 Earnings Results... Hopefully as with all MMORPG Korean Open Beta's that it'll span over several months with a weekly based maintenance, and updates. :)
nice kill man, what level were you when you did that quest, me and Nero did that at 20 but it was awesome, but just wait till you run into some of the other bosses Mecha Tao and Android 8000 are CRAZY

it would be nice if they don't delete our characters. I really got bored of the Namek area near the end of the beta. :/
And yeah there were some pretty crazy people around. I found an adult strange majin exploring Namek on the second day! =.=

if thats possible im sure they will notice it and do something about it.
Nah I don't mean it's like a bug,it's probably a dungeon that has fast exp for levels 25-35/40,and then it's probably going to be slow again,so you'll have to find another dungeon.
