Also, I'm going to say this now before someone brings up Jeraf's recent news post on DBMMO about Namco waiting on sales before looking into a worldwide release:

http://www.4gamer.net/games/038/G003825/20091204066/ makes no mention of them waiting for sales figures. I can only assume that this is another one of his painfully bad interpretations of a Google translation and is probably the reason why he never cites any of his sources.
In fact, that article never even mentions the word "sales"; only the Google translated version does. What it really says is that business abroad is going on even during the games development and that it's his (he being Koji Takamiya, NTL director) "dream" to eventually release the game worldwide.
In the same paragraph, in fact, it says that licencing negotiations for other countries are going on right now. I'm really not sure how Jeraf could have screwed up this badly. One would be better off sitting in the dark and waiting for this game than reading about it on DBMMO. ;)
