So I think I have the jist of what Kaioken does from using it and reading on the forums, but I saw an interesting post in this thread: http://www.dbocom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5334 that says the EP/LP drain goes down with higher purchased ranks of the skill.

I'd love to get some confirmation on that, and the numbers on it if anybody has them, so I can make an informed decision on getting the skill. Anybody able to help?

Ya if you max Kaioken it takes less EP and LP.Kaioken is way better than ssj(in the game)It gives you more damage and high crits than ssj.A lot of human players get that, for majins not that much and no one got kaioken for nameks yet.

they can now since the last patch although you cant use KoK and ssj at same time still. also i heard they fixed the ssj kok glitch but i havent confirmed this

Actually I've seen tons of locals that use Kaioken with namek classes.

It seems that the skill serves to be more beneficial to Buu/Namek classes, as they have regen skills that cancels out the negative effects that Kaioken imposes. They also have higher natural HP/LP compared to humans, so they'll definitely get more out of it. I had a friend that went 3x and was barely losing any HP/EP.
