wait i also read it so is it coming out in 2010 or not

North America/Europe will be seeing it in 2011 since 2010 will be for Japan and Hong Kong/Taiwan. Naturally its like that in MMORPG's.

linkrai, no one knows when it's coming out for sure.

Also, I'm going to say this now before someone brings up Jeraf's recent news post on DBMMO about Namco waiting on sales before looking into a worldwide release:

The article he's referring to, but not citing: http://www.4gamer.net/games/038/G003825/20091204066/ makes no mention of them waiting for sales figures. I can only assume that this is another one of his painfully bad interpretations of a Google translation and is probably the reason why he never cites any of his sources.

In fact, that article never even mentions the word "sales"; only the Google translated version does. What it really says is that business abroad is going on even during the games development and that it's his (he being Koji Takamiya, NTL director) "dream" to eventually release the game worldwide.

In the same paragraph, in fact, it says that licencing negotiations for other countries are going on right now. I'm really not sure how Jeraf could have screwed up this badly. One would be better off sitting in the dark and waiting for this game than reading about it on DBMMO. ;)

Which is pretty much what I've been telling everyone what was probably going on. We just need to wait and see, since Dragon Ball is a famous and popular IP, its only a matter of time before it gets an English release. Until then I can give you many games that be able to hold your attention until then.

Mhmm yea. In my own opinion, you shouldn't be giving news unless you are positively certain that the news is correct. So I would say that if one would give real news, they should know how to read both english and korean.

Actually, the interview was in Japanese, but it's not impossible to translate something accurately using Google. It just takes time and Jeraf isn't willing to take that time. For instance, my translation of the opening text to the game: http://www.dbocom.com/forum/showthread.php?p=429.

Everything I wrote there 3 months ago turned out to be dead on, but if you were to just google translate that same text you would get this mess: http://www.dbocom.com/forum/showthread.php?p=454. I have no understanding at all of the Korean language.

Ah yea, true. But note, I wasn't bagging on you. Jeraf is more interested in getting members by lieing then he is about taking his time to translate the information so the members could appreciate him and rejoice about what the information states.

Oh I know, I was just using your response to knock on him a little more.

I know he reads the stuff we post here. ;)

Jeraf is a notorious scammer. Any one of the old school DBMMO'ers would know that and I'm willing to guess that his little PS3 contest is a charade too. It's all about getting members to his site so that he can pocket more money.
